TLDR

Site Goals
The previous uaee.org site lacked design and used an outdated 1990s website builder that made changes difficult. The goals for the new site were to make updates easy, modernize the design, and move the existing content.
After reviewing a few rounds of mockups with the group, the site was developed as a custom WordPress theme with a simple backend and without the extensive plugins often found in off-the-shelf templates.
The result is a well-developed website that makes updating easy and looks good.
